    PROJECTOR Maintain

    Cleaning the lens:

    Clean the lens whenever you notice dirt or dust on the surface.
    1.Use a canister of compressed air to remove dust from the lens.
    2.If there is dirt or smears, use lens-cleaning paper or moisten a soft cloth with lens cleaner to gently wipe the lens surface.

    Cleaning the projector case:

    Follow the steps below.
    1.Turn off the projector.
    2.Unplug the power cord and the cables to any video sources.
    3.Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft cloth.
    To remove stubborn dirt or stains, moisten a soft cloth with water and a neutral detergent. Then wipe the case

    CAUTION: Never use wax, alcohol, benzene, thinner or other chemical detergents. These can damage the case..

      4.Use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment to clean the exterior vents.

      WARNING: Do not remove any external vents or case parts. Opening the unit is a significant risk to you and the product.

      5.Re-connect the power cord and the cables to any video sources.

      Cleaning the lamp vent screens:

      Over time, lint or other debris can build up or block the lamp vent screen(s).

      NOTE: Lamp maintenance should not be performed more frequently than necessary, but may be performed periodically according to your specific usage and use environment.

      WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, always turn the projector off and disconnect the power cord before removing the lamp. A projector lamp is very hot during normal operation of a projector! Be sure you have read and understood all warnings and instructions on the unit, on the lamp, and in your Owner’s Manual before attempting to remove the lamp. Allow for appropriate cool-down time as instructed.

      1.Turn off the projector.
      2.Unplug the power cord and the cables to any video sources.
      3.Remove the lamp from the projector. Refer to your Owner’s Manual for lamp removal instructions for your specific model. Do not touch the glass at the front of the lamp.

      WARNING: To reduce the risk of injuries to fingers and/or compromising image quality by touching the lens, do not touch the empty lamp compartment when the lamp is removed.

      4.Locate and inspect the vent screen(s) on the lamp for signs of buildup or blockage. Depending on your specific model, the lamp may have one or two vent screens. Use a vacuum with a crevice-type attachment to clean any foreign materials from the lamp vent screen(s).

      5.Reinstall the lamp and any applicable cover, taking care not to over-tighten the screws.
      6Re-connect the power cord and the cables for any video sources.
